Getting that first job in journalism

We aren't going to promise to get you a job. (No reputable course will make that promise...or even hint at it.)

What we do promise you is that we will give you the skills you need get a job in journalism.

Most of our tutors have been editors who hired staff. We know what other editors are looking for. As part of the course, we spend time helping you prepare a CV we believe will get read. Writing that catchy but professional application letter is a skill - we'll show you how.

When comes to that all-important job interview, we can help too. We know what a prospective employer expects to hear when they pose that awkward question. We'll help you be ready for it.

As well as tuition and feedback on your journalism, our tutors are all experienced coaches - there to help you.

Because of our track records in the industry, we know many editors and publishers. They know their own minds so we can't persuade to take you on. But they also know us and the standards we demand of ourselves and you when training.

In many cases, they contact us direct with news of vacancies that are never advertised.

So when it comes to getting a job, we'll be there for you. But you'll be the person whose efforts get that job.
