Moving from Quark XPress to Adobe InDesign

TWO DAY COURSE

This course shows delegates how to do in InDesign what they can already do in XPress. There is also a guide to the extra features InDesign has that XPress doesn’t.

Who should attend
Anyone who uses Quark XPress but is changing over to Adobe InDesign. (This not a beginner’s course and delegates are expected to have a very good knowledge of XPress.)

Not for: Beginners in Quark XPress or Adobe InDesign

Further courses
Intermediate InDesign Some sub-editing jobs involve page make-up and Quark XPress is still the most popular computer program for this task
Advanced InDesign All journalists should have a sound knowledge of libel, copyright and other laws. For all sub-editors it is a must
Page design Understanding how readers read pages and what makes a balanced page are all part of this essential course for page make-up sub-editors
