Introduction to news writing
THREE DAY COURSE
The backbone of journalism is news. Every journalist, no matter in which area of journalism they wish to work, needs to be able to recognise news and write it. This practical course takes the beginner or little experienced news writer through the process from start to finish: recognised what is news; finding out the facts; structuring the story and writing sparkling news copy.
Each delegates will source and write up several stories during the course and receive instant feedback on their work. Class numbers are kept at a maximum of six in order to facilitate this personal attention. A full set of notes is supplied.
Who should attend
