Introduction to Quark XPress

THREE DAY COURSE

This three-day hands-on course introduces delegates to Quark XPress. The course is designed is give a solid grounding in the basics of the program. Among the tasks covered: creating a new page; adding text and pictures; editing text; resizing pictures; fitting copy; and polishing the final proof. At the end of the course, delegates should be able to make up basic pages of a publishable quality.

Who should attend
Beginners; anyone who hasn't had formal training in Quark XPress; anyone wanting to learn the program from the bottom up; and anyone who wants to be more confident in their use of the program

What delegates should have
A sound knowledge of the keyboard and possess some word processing skills
